The USPA Fall Committee and Board of Governors meetings were held from Wednesday, September 17, through Saturday, September 19, at The Manchester in Lexington, Kentucky, with sessions offered both in person and virtually to maximize member participation. The meetings provide USPA members and staff a chance to audit committees, share feedback and learn more about the governance and future direction of the Association. They also provide a valuable setting to connect with clubs from across the country, exchange ideas, ask questions and seek guidance from Association leadership and staff.

While many items of business were addressed in Lexington, several matters required additional action and were carried over to the Annual Member Meeting and Special Board Meeting, which took place on Tuesday, October 21.

The week of meetings kicked off Wednesday morning, followed by the Chairman’s Reception that evening. In addition to welcoming everyone to Kentucky, guests had the opportunity to honor the recipients of the Intercollegiate/Interscholastic Service Awards, including Mike McCleary, who received the Lifetime Achievement Award, Mark Prinsloo, honored with the Service Award and Morgan McBride, the recipient of the Young Alumni Award. Following three days of productive meetings, the week culminated in the Board of Governors Meeting on Saturday. The board heard reports from the divisions, LLCs and committees. Additionally, the board approved the 2025 operating budget, revisions to the rules and tournament conditions, and several other amendments to programs and initiatives.
