La Dolfina II beat Alegria

On Saturday 11/13, Adolfo Cambiaso (n), Poroto, broke the record held by Gonzalo Pieres (h) since 1999 and at 15 years, 11 months and 16 days, he became the youngest polo player to play the Argentine Open of Pole.

In the match, which was played on court 2, La Dolfina Brava PT, a team in which Tomás Panelo -who also debuted in the world’s top tournament- played instead of the injured Rodrigo Ribeiro de Andrade, defeated by a tight 14 to 13 Alegría Standard Wealth, a team that featured the debut of Brazilian Pedrinho Zacharias.

It was a real match between two teams that fought as equals during the eight chukkers of the match. Alegría started better, with outstanding performances by Brazilian Pedrinho Zacharias and Tincho Merlos, but little by little the Cañuelas team matched the actions with a sensational debut by Poroto Cambiaso -author of 10 goals-; and also from Tommy Panelo, who converted 3, one of them, 30 seconds from the final bell, which gave the victory to La Dolfina Brava P. T.
